Free Pick: Teaser Pick of the Weekend Oct 7-8

Hey,

Ah yes the teaser pick of the week.

We won last week so let’s try and get back to back winners…..

Below is my 13 point teaser bet of the week – remember this is a gut pick aka not a system pick:

Alabama (Take BAMA +10.5) @ Texas A&M

Michigan (Take MU -5.5) @ Minnesota

Notre Dame (Take ND +6.5) @ Louisville

Carolina @ Detroit (Take DET +3.5)

A quick reasoning for each is below:

Alabama (Take BAMA +10.5) @ Texas A&M:

I think it is very possible that the Tide could lose this game, and the line moving slightly against them throughout the week only further supports that notion.

But will Alabama lose by more than 10 points?

It is possible, but I think Alabama has enough in the tank to win outright, or lose closely.

Furthermore, there are few people I trust more than Nick Saban and his teams.

Alabama may not be as dominant as they once were, but I still expect them to win this one or keep it close.

Michigan (Take MU -5.5) @ Minnesota

Michigan has arguably been the most complete team in the country through 5 weeks.

They have won every game by double digits AND are yet to allow double digit points.

To be fair, they have not played anyone of note, but Minnesota is not exactly a major step up in competition.

The Gophers are 3-2 on the year, which includes an ugly loss to a BAD Northwestern team.

The anxiety with taking Michigan here is that it is a night game, but Michigan is experienced enough to weather that storm.

Notre Dame (Take ND +6.5) @ Louisville:

I like the Irish here for two reasons.

One they are coming off a big win at Duke.

If Notre Dame was going to have the let down moment following the crushing Ohio State loss it was going to be against Duke.

Instead, the Irish largely controlled the game against the Blue Devils.

Two I do not think Louisville is very good.

They have played NO ONE through the first 5 games, and can still count themselves lucky to be 5-0.

Notre Dame will be the first real team the Cardinals have played all year and I expect the Irish to have their way.

Carolina @ Detroit (Take DET +3.5):

With Detroit coming off a dominant win at Lambeau field, at home, with more days rest, AND they are going up against a rookie qb…..

you can see why I am taking Detroit here.

Bryce Young has had a tough start to his career as a Panther, and I do not expect a turnaround to happen against a good Lions team.

Furthermore, getting +3.5 with the Lions ensures at least some wiggle room should the Panthers pull off the surprise upset.

Happy Betting!

Sincerely,

Juicy Wagers
