Monday Night Football has returned!
Below is your preview of tonight’s game.
Green Bay (2-2) @ Las Vegas (1-3) 8:15 PM EST:
The big storyline heading into tonight’s game will be Davante Adams matching up against his former team for the first time.
Adams was and is a Packers legend, so it will be interesting to see how he goes up against a strong Packer secondary.
In terms of the overall scope, both teams are looking to improve on their first 4 weeks.
The Raiders are 1-3 and are trending towards a top 10 pick in the draft.
Unfortunately for Las Vegas, they seem to be closer to an average team rather than a terrible team – in my opinion you would rather be terrible so that the rebuild can start faster.
The Packers are trying to rebound from a discouraging performance vs the Lions where the Green Bay fronts were manhandled.
The Raiders won’t be mistaken for the Lions anytime soon, but with Josh Jacobs at running back and Maxx Crosby on the defensive line, Las Vegas could cause some issues for Green Bay.
It will also be interesting to see how the Packers offense performs now with a ten day break in between games.
More specifically, will Aaron Jones and Christian Watson both heavily feature now that they should be fully healthy?
Currently the line is Green Bay +2.5, but they opened at -1, so that is not a promising trend for Packers fans.
