NFL Week 5 MNF Preview: SEA @ NYG

The last game of NFL Week 5 is tonight….

Here is your preview of tonight’s game…..

Seattle (2-1) @ New York Giants (1-2) 8:15 PM

Seattle comes in on the back of a victory over Carolina and currently has a 2-1 record.

Geno Smith, Seattle’s quarterback, continues to defy the odds that he already defied last year with his steady play.

Seattle also boasts one of the better wide receiver corps in the league with D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

New York is lead by quarterback Daniel Jones; however, they are likely going to be without their best player in Saquon Barkley.

That means it is up to Jones to carry the offensive load, which he has not done particularly well through the first three weeks.

In fairness to Jones, the Seahawks will not have the defensive front that the Cowboys and 49ers have (the two teams the Giants lost to).

What does this mean for tonight’s game?

It means if the Giants offensive line can protect Jones then that should give New York a chance.

Look for New York to try and run the ball so that they can be balanced on offense.

Defensively the Giants will need to hope they can hold up against the vaunted receiving attack of Seattle.

Interestingly, the line is only Seattle -1.5 which seems a bit low, so maybe the Giants can pull off a surprise upset?

We will have to watch to find out.

Happy Betting!
