The last game of NFL Week 8 is a duel between the Raiders and Lions.
Below you will find your rundown for tonight’s game.
Las Vegas (3-4) @ Detroit (5-2) 8:15 PM EST:
Before we get to the Lions – do you think Raiders fans know what their team is doing?
Because I certainly don’t.
What is the long-term outlook of starting Jimmy Garoppolo and having an older star wide receiver in Davante Adams?
It just SCREAMS of mediocrity – not bad enough to get a top 5 pick, but not good enough to make any sort of postseason run.
That is the WORST spot to be in for a NFL team – the definition of no hope.
Now the Raiders have the unenviable task of facing a good Detroit team….
I am still a believer in the Lions, last weeks 38-6 blowout loss to the Ravens was an aberration.
Hence why Detroit is favored by -7 points in this one.
For the Raiders to have any chance they are going to have to rely on Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs.
Vegas has only scored over 20 points once this year, but that will not cut it in tonight’s matchup.
Even if Detroit’s Amon-Ra St Brown ends up missing due to illness, the Lions have plenty of weapons to score points.
And, Jared Goff tends to do much better at home than on the road.
It will be a tall task for the Raiders to win this one, but if they can utilize their offensive weapons then MAYBE they will have a chance….
